Cross Stitch Collection

For this collection I returned to a hobby from my youth, but with a twist - a familiar medium with striking and intriguing images with intense detail and subtlety. I have created these pieces from photographs and x-ray images, each one uses at least 40 different colours, with one in particular being comprised of over 200,000 stitches. (it’s not pictured here yet, still in the framing process!)
